Arnavaz graduated NIDA in 2005 where she completed the 'Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Theatre Design'. She since then has also completed numerous certificates at Melbourne School of Fashion including 'Certificate of Pattern Making and Garment Construction', 'Certificate of Styling and Couture' and 'Certificate of Millinery Construction and Design'.
Her love for both the theatre and the fashion industries gives Arnavaz a broad range of skill, interest and flexibility within design.
Arnavaz Lindsay currently specialises in one off pieces in millinery and couture, but she also offers her services as a professional costume and set designer to directors and professionals within the entertainment industry.
Her millinery design can range anywhere from a small fascinator to an elaborate hat for the races or a wedding. As Arnavaz is trained in theatre design, she can also create theatrical headpieces for all purposes including fashion shoots, film, theatre, musicians, opera, dance and burlesque.
She wishes to make her way into the music industry with her creations - merging the worlds of costume and fashion and appealing to bands and musicians who wish to incorporate a sense of theatrical fashion into their music video clips or require a unique visual style for performances/gigs/concerts.
The millinery and couture designs that Arnavaz creates are one off pieces and unique to each individual customer/client.
All clients who require the design services of Arnvaz Lindsay are asked to contact her first in order to set up an appointment. |
